Just like to say hi to all of you, My name is nick, im from Doncaster, ive stamered proberbly all my life, and have my ups and downs with it, i could say i suffer quite bad with stammering problems, mostly just after work when i can finally relax it seems to take a tight grip on me, although im not perfect at work, i feel i can speak better there, and dont know why, im usually ok around people until i get asked a easy question and find it really difficult to get the answer out (stupid i know), It really got to me about 2 weeks ago dont know why it was just running on my mind making me worse, so i decided to look it up on the internet to see if i can get some sort of private or confidential help, but it seems the best way to relax and possibly cure it is to just open up and let it out, yes im a stamerer so what, thats better :D But i have one other problem that i need to talk to other people about, i have a son whos reaching 3 years old and is getting really good at short sentences, maybe you already know what im thinking? will my speach difficulties effect him in anyway? Im watching him closly all the time wondering if he as problems which worries me, although i try my upmost hardest when speaking to him i go slowly clearly and 9 out of 10 times im ok, but other times when im at home and talking to my girlfriend and stammering hes always with us listening (copying like all kids do) in other words i cant hide it from him its impossible. and i really need to know if it will affect him in the long run. anyways i suppose you have had enough of listening to me blabble on, so ill love ya and leave ya for now :) thanks for reading my introduction and i hope to speak to you all soon. byeeeeeeee
