My stutter since i was 7 years old. I'm doing pretty well in my life right now even though that i stutter. I'm a salesman and doing decent with school. Few years ago, I wasn't able to order food, talk on the phone, and talk to strangers; I was a moderate stutterers. I stutter more usually when i have iniate the converstation. After a year of speech therapy with strong determination and hardwork, i turned from a moderate stutterer to a very mild stutterer. I don't have any secondary behaviors which i used to have. Most of the problems that i encounter nowaday or usually slight 1 second block. Over the years, I have worked so far with my stuttering; always talk to strangers, on the phone, and pratice words that i have blocked a lot with people and by myself. Even though i hardly stutter on most of my words, i still fear and anticipate what happen if i stutter. However, i'm to a point; i don't focus on much of my stuttering because i have a lot of good qualities as a person. Stuttering is a just a problem i'm really to work with and accept instead of tryint to be fluent and feel bad about most of the time. I'm working to catch up with my life because of my stuttering life. I socalize a lot more with people than before. The only major problem i still have asking girls out because i'm afraid that i may stutter. Nice meeting you guys. I read a lot of messages on this forum. I'm a very mild stutterer and it still cause problems. I know how you guys feel about your stuttering.

hi judo,

welcome!!

we know how it feels to stutter. It's nice to know that you improve from moderate to mild stutterer.
about girls, you have to talk to them and let them know that you stutter because it's from there you can tell if she will accept you for what you are.

How's it going eveyone - we are doing just great, on a great forum and everyone here understands each other. Great to meet you. I had a severe stutter when i was young and now it is moderate to mild. I think it got that way because of age, but if i knew how to speed up the process, i would put it in a bottle and give it away. Looking forward in reading your responses. See you out in the forum.
