I have just found out about www.LibraryThing.com where you can catalog your books online. Are there any other book lovers here? Do you know about LibraryThing? I think I am getting addicted to that site and getting my library of wonderful books catalogued. Check it out if you are a book lover, too.

Yeah, that's a good site. It is, friends tell me and as the front page says, a good way to find others who have similar tastes to you.
I love books, infact I'm a librarian. I've yet to use that site myself although I keep meaning to. I catalogue books at work all day in a university library so it's interesting to see cataloguing being popularised in the outside world,as it were! :D

I understand how it would be hard to get interested in cataloging your own library if you do it all day at work. I am enjoying being able to make comments on each book such as who gave it as a gift, which ones were my mother's, which ones came from my wife's side of the family, or where we lived when we bought the book. It is like leaving a little bit of history there for the children. The next project will be to use a program we got from our insurance agency to record our home inventory. Since we have books and household items from great grandparents down to us, it will really tell a story. Now, if they'll just do a cd/record.thing so we can catalogue out music....

I've never herad of that site but thanks for the link. I love books myself, especially Richard Laymon novels and Anne Rice novels. Very good writers they are! I strongly recommend them to anyone.

I don't know that site but i'm gonna check it out,it's what I'm looking for. It does make sense that stutterers love literature, doesn't it?
