hello, im frank and im 17 years old. ive had my severe stammer since as long as i can remember but it only started to bother me once i reached 13 and since then its dominated my life.

Im glad i found this forum it makes me feel slightly less isolated. not the most joyful of introductions but there you go..

Hi Frank, I am probably the oldest geezer here. I pop in now and then because I like to learn as well as encourage others. I come from a family of stutterers, but don't stutter myself. It is hard to watch loved ones go through something that you can't do anything about except to have patience and let them know that you love them no matter what. I have the other family ailments of heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis. I'm working to keep them in control. My uncles and cousins work/worked to keep their stuttering in control. Welcome to the forum. I see you are from Ireland. Can you do a jig?
