Male or Female

Just a bit curious.. :rolleyes:

Iv'e noticed that alot of people that stammer on this forum seem to be female.

I know that it's more common for males to stammer than females & I can only remember meeting one women in my life that stammered... :eek:

so lets have a poll and see how many male and females there are here.... :)

Is it that perhaps alot of males are reluctant to express their feelings and weaknesses on the internet whereas females are much better at expressing themselves so it is more likely for a female to join this forum than a male?

The literature suggests that it is predominantly among males. However, I knew a successful woman in Chicago with a slight stammer, and she worked for a top-flight law firm. Just goes to show you cannot be precluded from a successful life.

I think males are just as good at expressing their feelings on the internet, because of the nature of anonymity of the WWW.
