I am a 12th grade student from Israel. I am a stutterer, and some time ago I realized that I don't know any other stutterers personally, which I thought was wrong and needed fixing and so I set about searching for a stuttering on the internet and found this one, so I joined in hope to meet other stutterers, possibly befriend some.

A brief history of me and stuttering. It started sometime in my childhood. Since then I've gone to see a speech therapist twice, once when I was elementary school and again between 9th and 10th grade. On top of that I read Comprehensive Stuttering Therapy by Phillip J. Roberts and I did a month's trial of one of those machines you wear in your ear that echo into your ear everything you say and are supposed to help with stuttering. It didn't help me so I didn't purchase it in the end of the trial. Currently I am doing nothing to take care of my stuttering.

You have found the right place! I just joined recently and already am feeling better about my future--- at one point in my life(not too long ago) I thought about even...well ending everything!
