Hi fellow cool stutterers!
I need some suggestions for my podcast that I've recently started. For those who don't know, it's called Stuttering is Cool. It's main feature is me playing audio comments from fellow stutterers. That way, we all hear other people stuttering and we don't feel like we are the only one in the world who does :)

What I need help in is how listeners to my podcast can leave comments.

I have a phone number where you can leave a voice message but you have to pay to dial it.

I can add a widget on my website where you press a button and record your message (for free). You will need to have a microphone on your computer. The drawback to this is anyone can hear the messages without listening to the podcast. Do you think stutters in general won't like this? You can see an example at http://www.mychingo.com (orange box on the left side of page).

Does have an answering service?

Does anyone have another suggestion?

I'm not really looking for a technical suggestion but more what would be accessible for all.

Thanks for you rcompliments but... fluently? Me?!

Well, not really. However, I did notice that after 2 shows that I stutter a lot less when recording for Stuttering is Cool than when I'm recording for my other podcast or am speaking in other situations. I usually need to do a good 6 or 7 takes for my other podcast.

I think it's because I am more relaxed when I record for my stuttering podcast-- probably because my audience is my fellow stutters so I am at ease. It's ok to stutter. In fact, you could say it's required! :)

Of course, I am a little disappointed because then people may think my experiences shouldn't be taken seriously. On the contrary, I stutter a lot off the recorder.

That's why I need audio comments-- to offset my infrequent stuttering ;) So call (or email an mp3) today! :)
