Hello All,

"I have been noticing something unusuall for last few months that my JAWS's JOINT near my ears are NOT properly placed in my facial structure, I mean When I am on the way to open my mouth fully & When I am on the way to close my mouth I feel the joint of jaws near my ears have problem working smoothly, I mean I feel Jaws are working as if "For examlpe:- a person slides from top to down on Stairs" I feel this kind of feeling of unproper sliding on my Jaws's Joint.

So I want to know "Is it one of the causes I stutter & block, I mean 'Is this problem causing me stutterer'?"

I would appreciate your views about this problem of mine, I mean 'Do u have the same problem or any thing like this or any idea abt this?'

bye.

I have recently have had some extreme problems with my jaw, but I don't feel like it has had any influence on my stutter. My jaw was locked half-closed for several months so when i spoke i wasn't able to open my jaw; my stutter was the same and so was my speech. I now have to wear a splint for a year and if that doesn't help it to heal then i have to look into surgery. I highly doubt that your jaw functions have anything to do with your stuttering, but I can't say for sure. So i would suggest maybe seeing an orthodontist if you still have concerns.

I have been having problems with my jaw to it seems to be out of place or something because everytime I chew or talk it snaps. My stuttering hasn't changed though. Hope you get better!!! :D
