New Ads on the Forum

Okay, I know this forum is free and it offers a great channel for us to talk to each other. But ... are new ads which are on the site now legit? Have any of you responded to any of them?

Roley, yeah these annoy me. Some are legit, but others seem completely fraudulent.

the ads are probably from google adsense or a similar program that matches them by keyword/content..

Because of ads we get to enjoy free email, many discussion forums. someone has to pay the bills

Bill, I don't question the need for the forum owners to raise money. I'd just hate, though, for our brothers and sisters to be "taken in."
