I just posted the latest episode on my stuttering podcast about job interviews. I'd like to hear your opinions about dealing with interviews with a stutter. It would be perfect for a follow up show. The show is at stutteringiscool.com (http://www.stutteringiscool.com) (you can also subscribe on iTunes).

One question I've been pondering is if it's a good idea to mention that you stutter in an interview. Is it even necessary?

I don't think it's necessary to mention that you stutter. If the interviewer thinks it is a concern, he/she should bring it up. This actually happened to me recently; towards the end of the interview, the guy asked me if I thought my stuttering would prevent me from being able to effectively communicate in the workplace. Of course, I told him that it wouldn't!
