Here are some of the ways I helped myself to reduce some of my blocking and stuttering. I do stutter, but over the last month I have dedicated myself to tackling this problem and have had some success...so I want to share this with all of you...because that's what were all here for.

1) Yoga...Yoga for dummies to be exact
-the breathing and stretching exercises really
help relax and open up the lungs

2) Read Dan Watson's "I conquered my stutter".
-don't just read it, do everything he
recommends in the manual

3) Make as much small talk as possible. Wherever
you go, a coffee shop, Jamba juice, grocery
store, restaurant....make small talk. Even if it's
only one sentence with the cashier..this is a
start and it will feel good

4) Always have a positive attitude....no matter how
bad it gets....always wake up with a positive
attitude that you are going to beat this or at
least improve a little more today...and build on
that.

Good luck friends!!

I downloaded Watson's book from Amazon.com (PDF format) - I'll let you know what I think.

How I approached it was by reading the manual in it's entirety. Then I went back and started over, doing exactly what he has suggested. Give this some time...I have spent over a month studying this and I still read sections in it about 4-5 times a week. Good luck!!! I know you will do well

I believe you need to download it to your hard drive. From there you need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader (which is free).
