Hi y'all. I must be famous by now because of all my " searching for a good therapist" threads lol. I am 21 and i have stuttered since i was 8. I am searching for a summer job but i wonder how i will manage to find one with a stutter. First i wanted to spend my vacaton across the atlantic but i cannot work there because of a visa issue. I live in France i can work in Europe. I thought about Ireland and England. Do any of you live there? I am searching for a job and roommate there so it would be cool to have a stutterer as a roommate and "coach" in my "summer country". I need help to find a job in one of these countries as i will not be able to be contacted via the phone because i cannot talk on it most of the time. I can kind of make myself understood when i have the person in front of me but most of the time not on the phone. I understand the american accent, but i have a hard time with the british one; so ideally i'd like to find a roommate in a area in which people have an "understandable accent". I'd like to find cheap accomodation as well. I know im very late but i would lke to work for about a month in England or Ireland (ill go in the country with the cheapest accomodation+ most understandable accent) I'd like to find a good speech therapist and good support groups as well. I have an highschool diploma by the way.

Come to London, most people have foreign accents here :) I understand most everybody unless I stumble upon a Brit but it's such a rare occurence it doesn't matter ;)
It's not the cheapest place but if you find a job it shouldn't matter either.

Thank you fo responding Silent. Well Ive heard that London was very expensive + i do not know nobody there. The price does matter as i would like to make money in order to apply for my work permit overseas + i do not know anybody in london who could house me in exchange for money.
