Pagoclone will soon be starting its FDA phase III trials, so I wondered if there was anyone on the forum that was involved in the Phase II trials and how the drug was for them.
I know that this will not be a cure, however an effective drug along with therapy will be good news for us all.

Because if you discontinue taking it, your stutter will return.
That is a crutch (maybe a very good one), not a cure.

The drug will NOT be a cure......Phase II trials indicated that it helped 55% of people taking the drug......people of certain stuttering sub-types but not all.
A drug linked with a good therapy is the best option for success.
I am hopeful that the drug passes Phase III and it is released in 2010/2011.

As far as I know, they have not set a firm date for the Phase III trials, they expect them to start "soon", but we dont know how long "soon" means.
Thx
