Today was my first day of school.Hard for stuttters. 2 teachers asked my name and i did not stutter AT ALL. even a hott ass girl said whats ur name and i didnt stutter,,my name is Danny and i always stutter on that name but today i didn't i don't know why. but i think it because i was so calm.
Good stuff man!
I miss school, not the homework part or stuttering, just hanging with my buddies.

Sounds like a great day Danny. Congrats, man! Those are the days to treasure.
This was my first day of school as well. I stuttered like a madman, but did so ( comfortably ) after self-advertising my condition - they easily accepted my speech and we just got on with the syllabus and lecture. ;)
Funny thing : the laser jet printer at my university jammed and I had to read aloud the entire text contained in my syllabus. I asked for their patience - smiles all around.

i had to introduce myself today in one of my two classes. everything went ok, i took a deep breath and everything came out smooth. i was amazed considering how hard my chest was beating.

Lucky you guys. I'm not getting through school to easily. In Spanish 2 I have to introduce the person I'm sitting next to. And I've got to do the full name! Isis leeanne desiré (insert someother name here). I'm freaking out. And then my Spanish teacher likes to have us do projects and skits and crap. And to top it off I've got history and science fair this year which I'll probably have to present. I dread going to school. Everytime I think about this stuff, I start to cry literally because I need the stuttering to stop but it won't :(

After awhile you just have to accept that this is who you are and what you do. Who cares how you sound to other people?
This class is gonna be a tough one though..lots of group discussions and an oral presentation at the end of the semester. yay. I figure that this class isn't going to kill me...I've been through these situations before..and guess what? I'm still here!

I do know how difficult it is for you ( I still have those trying days ). As a PWS, we get our midlife crisis over and done with early in life. Remember that you are not alone. Crying is a natural event. Keep fighting the good fight. Decent people will accept you for you and they will also make note of your uncanny bravery.

Great Going Mcnutters :) i miss school this year, i have had to delay college because of my accident. I remember stuttering and stammering all over myself on the first days of each school year, but Great Job staying calm and making your first day the Best Day Ever :D

Even you gentlemen i would just venture to say, have at one time or another gone pshc over a lady in your life?? Humm? Yes?? haha

Ehhh no. I think girls in that way are gross. But they're awesome friends. But I will say I'm going psycho. But only because of stress. I had to go see my school psychiatrist today :eek:

Ah! My bad! I dinna know. BTW when the red visitors are in the hizzo, i dont go there. But when they r not...Lets just say thats my favorite restaurant.
