Hello,
It feels amazing to introduce myself without worrying about saying my name. I am 23 and I remember first starting to stutter at around 2nd grade. I have 98% blocks and <2% of very mild repitions (sp?) I seem to have the worst blocks when I have to introduce myself to other people, that has caused me to avoid large social gatherings and I find it almost impossible to meet new people. I have a great fiance who is extremely supportive of me. I have made great strides the past couple years thanks to her.
I have never once met another person who stutters so if any of you are from Montana let me know, I know some of the larger cities have stuttering support groups, but I highly doubt there are enough suttters in my city to have a support group.
Thanks everyone and good luck to all!
