I have one class where whenever there is a speaking situation i perform poorly. For some reason in that class i turn into a mute. I have another class immediately afterwards where i speak really well - i have the occasional hesitation but if you asked anyone in that particular class if i stuttered they would say no. How can a person speak so well in certain circumstances and so shitty in others? Any thoughts or experiences?

Could it be to do with the teacher in one class being more scarey or maybe different classmates making you feel uneasy.

I find myself in similar situation where I can be really fluent with some people as I get a good vibe from them and then from people I dont like I stutter badly.
