The waterfall effect. It's foolproof with my stuttering. It never fails to reduce my stuttering.

I need my own waterfall effect every time I speak.

My stuttering is caused by the way I hear my voice as I talk.

My voice is nothing but a distraction to myself.

Everytime I can hear a whoshing sound far away in my left ear, my stuttering leaves..and my voice is not a pain in the ass.

Hear this:

I go to the bathroom, and ever time I urinate, I talk along to the loud sound of the urin hitting the toilet. Again, the sound it's loud, it covers the sound of my voice as I speak, and I get wicked fluent.

Why couldn't that effect happen ever time I open my mouth???

I need this waterfall effect ever time I speak in order to speak fluent.

Without a waterfall effect to focus on, I will always stutterer..

I need a masking device. The Fluency Master was always an option as that is a fantastic masking aid. It's costs too much though.

Any ideas or thoughts???

Hi,

I know that the Fluency master appears to be the answer to all of your prayers, but its not....there have been plenty of reports to show that it does not work well in the real world in the long term (see the stutteringbrain blogspot).

We can all speak well in a "choral" environment ie when we sing or when others are saying something at the same time (DAF etc) but its not fluency.

And they are expensive......someone is making a lot of money off the misery of stutterers as the components are not THAT expensive.

Have you downloaded any free DAF software thats on the web and used that?

I've tried speech therapy, hypno, drugs and just about any "cure" out there, and the best thing I have done is the Mcguire programme (no I aint preaching!).....its hard work, but you only get out of it what you put into it...

Just my 2 cents

Cheers
