Hello everyone.
I do not stutter, but my husband does. When i got to know him in the very early stage, he stutter pretty often and pretty badly. I detest his friends who looked at him impatiently to complete his sentences. And i will do that "care bear STARE" thing at them.
Some years ago, many times when he speaks to me, he have a bit problem completing his sentence. I will remind him to stop and try again.
6 years has passed. He has got tremendous improvements in his speech, and is able to speak really smoothly and quickly. :) Not that i influenced him or teach him... but i guess moral support is very very important.
I am very very happy for him. He feels more confident speaking now too. Not that he isn't confident last time, but i feel now he's more at ease speaking and communicating with family and friends.
Occassionally, he stills has bad "mouth" days ( bad hair days? :D ). But it's not often.
Love to know more of you! It's great to be a member here!
