I'm sorry for not knowing and understanding!

I see many threads on this forum that use the word "stammering." Before I joined this forum a few days ago, I never heard or knew of the word "stammering." Is stuttering the exact same thing as stammering or is there a noticable difference? Is it the same as stuttering but just used in countries outside of the U.S.?

:) You appear to have all worked out. The term "Stutter" is used in countries like Canada, U.S.A, Aussie & New Zealand, where the U.K.(& me) use the term "Stammer". Both mean exactly the same thing.? Another example is:Hood/Bonnet & Faucett/tap.

WOW! After exactly 1 month, someone actually replied to this thread! :D Thanks!

A week after I created this thread, I kinda figured it out. I'm actually kinda embarrassed now for even creating it, but I can't change the past. Thanks anyways though! :)
