Hey everyone!
A few months ago I signed up at this forum and today I got an email that my account finally got activated.
My name is Mike, I am 23 years old and I am from the Netherlands. I have stuttered all my life and especially in my late teen years that has been hard on me. I stuttered very severly and that caused heavy depressions on my part. I was always worried and anxious what people would think about me and my stuttering. The stress that came along with it made my stuttering even worse. I was stuck in a circle, my stuttering made me depressed and my depression made my stuttering even worse.
But luckily thats a thing of the past and things are looking up. Thanks to therapy I broke through that circle of negativity and I am slowing learning to accept and live with my stuttering. Since september I even took up a study again. Its going great so far. My fellow students are nice and accept me for who I am . Last week I had to do my first presentation and it went great ! Even though that was always one of my first fears I did it and it went well and I even got alot of compliments from my teacher and fellow students.
I signed up because I want to help other people' with their problems and I hope people can help me out with problems I am facing aswell.
