Your friend was right about this being a very good forum. You certainly came to the right place to talking about your stuttering experiences.

Also, you may be interested in joining a local National Stuttering Association Support Group, if you haven't already done so. Their website is www.nsastutter.org and you can look to see if there is one in your area. I recently joined one a few days ago. It's not therapy, but a place where stutterers can get together and talk about their experiences face to face.
