This thread has probably been done before, but has anyone ever noticed that if you speak out and emulate the speaking style of a news anchorman, taking a deeper tone and emphasizing every syllable, that you do not stutter?
I definitely would not do this everyday in every occasion, but it is pretty interesting.

I had that too when I was 10 or so.
The older I grew, the more severe my stuttering was and such tricks lost their power.
That's true. Even if I impersonate someone like Arnold Schwarzenegger or another celebrity, I do no stutter.

Sure many tricks will work, for a while. I tell as a joke that I could make any stutterer temporarly fluent, the same result as most therapies give.
You watch a John Wayne movie, during and after the movie you start talking like John Wayne. I am absolutly sure you will be fluent or much more fluent than you are now. But it will soon wear off, like most therapies and probably your self esteem and stuttering will be worse.
