Hi everyone, my name is Chris. Im 18 and I live in P.A in the united states. I have stuttered ever since I could remember. My stutter isnt repetitive, Its more choppy I guess lol, I get stuck on getting sounds out initially. I have good days and bad days, it generally gets worse with the fear of stuttering and better when Im in a more optimistic and peaceful mood. I have been majorly depressed about it on and off but Im giving it much more acceptance now. As much as it sucks I wouldnt go back in time and not stutter if I could. Stuttering definatly has made me look at life in a way I wouldnt have if I didnt go through the experience of stuttering, and in that way I see stuttering as a gift. I look forward to talking to people I can relate to :D

Hey Chris welcome to the forum :D

yeah i suppose stuttering does have its advantages, in the sense that stutterers (in most cases) don't become insensitive idiots. ;)
