Well its not sold yet, but its most likely going to happen. As some of you know idev(Indevus Pharmaceuticals) is the company behind pagoclone. I was wondering do you guys think this will have any effect on pagoclone?

This is a good thing most likely. I remember when IDEV released news about pagoclone earlier this year and the stock jumped like 100%. IDEV is really struggling right now, they've been losing money for a while and are looking pretty insolvent. They're basically riding on the fact that Pagoclone is going to be big and if anything goes wrong with it or it underperforms they're busto.

Also just out of curiosity does anyone know the legal process a company has to go through to make a drug public?

There's a wing of the government that has to rubber stamp it saying it's good for the public. The agency is called the Food and Drug Agency.
I believe the agency has to perform their own tests and review the research papers on the drug.
I'm just guessing here.
