One of my speech teachers asked me once how would my life be different if I didn't stutter. She was a person who never stuttered in may case until you walked the shoes you will never know anyways would like to hear some responses thanks

Hi flower.

I don't think my life would be all that different if I didn't stutter. I was very covert until recently.

Although I do think I would be less empathetic (is that the word...?) if I wasn't a PWS.

Welcome to the forum. I probably would be a bit more confident and at ease around people, especially strangers if I didn't stutter. I also may have been more outgoing back at school/college.

That is a good question Flower. How can anyone see the real world, when we have been influenced by it or see it thru unbiased eyes. I am happy to be walking in my own shoes that is for sure, i am sure i will have a hard time walking in others. The only way i get some sort of idea what it would be like is by looking at my siblings and compare their lives to mine right now. We pretty much came from the same roof same enviroment, etc..
