Hi my name is Ray and I am 30 years old and have stuttered my whole life. When I was a kid my stutter was really bad and then it got better but now it is getting way worse now. I am really struggling with my speech and my self esteem as time goes on. I don't know anyone who stutters at all but I just recently started looking at YouTube videos and realizing just how big our really is. I have felt alone for so long because of how I talk and now I am reaching out to other people like me. I made only two videos on YouTube so far and I dont dare watch them though. I'll start watching untill I start to stutter then I can't watch anymore. It makes me so mad to hear my self stutter and lets me see what other people have to see when I talk to them. While I am around people that I HAVE to talk to, I get so angry at myself. I am a HUGE issolater and I know thats not good but it helps me to not be around other people and make a fool of myself. I just don't know how to accept myself fully, and I guess I am just reaching out for help from other people who stutter like I do.

I would also like to link ya'll to my second YouTube video... Just Click Here to watch (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_BMFz6c8vg). Thank you for your time...

Ray :o

Hi Ray.
I'm Claire, a severe stutterer too. I would like to tell you a big bravo for your videos. You look great, you sound great and you do great. I hope I will have the opportunity to discuss with you on the forum.

I'd also like to tell you that it is very easy to understand what you say on the videos, so you manage quite well the severe stutter. When I speak it is much more difficult to understand what I say.

Bravo again!

Claire
