I found this forum a week or so ago and decided to join, but the moderation queue thing gave me the impression I wouldn't be getting in anytime soon haha. Anyway I'm here, and my name is Zach. I'm an artist, and student (this fall), but my mind thinks on so many planes of thoughts and ideas it can be good or bad for me. I took 2 years off after highschool to teach myself artistically, work, and basically get a grasp of where I really wanted to go. I recently went to Italy for a couple months to look at schools too, and I can safely say it was awesome. Btw, I love traveling. In effect of my my whole life---from Jersey to Maine---, I'm a stutterer. For once, I actually get to talk with people who understand what it's really like. There's alot of things I like and have as hobbies; figure them out. ;]

Violet, that's great! =} I have quite a few friends who are painters. At the moment I'm using a digital medium for my art. CGI:D . I plan on getting into drawing and painting, sculpting too some time soon because it's very important for enhancing any artist vision with color and perspective. If you like painting right now, I think one day you'd love getting into digital painting with say a Wacom tablet and Photoshop. Some of the things digital painters can create is simply amazing. You would of loved some of the art exhibits in Rome like Villa Borghese. Beautiful gardens there too. I realize that if you open your mind to all types of art you realize, it all connects.
I'd also like to see your work sometime. I'm working on a character at the moment and revising a scene right now, so I'll remember to share when I get near to finishing. <3

Chris, thanks. =] Yea you need to do it. I went in the winter though so it was significantly cheaper for me. Traveling is fun! Tell yourself the places you want to go---and go. I think being exposed to the world in that sense makes everything alot clearer. I stayed in youth hostels in Florence; Venice; Rome, and met Koreans, Irish, Brazilians, alot of Australians (Australian girls are cuute). We had some good times. ;} I have a few destinations in mind for my next trip.
