Personaly I stutter on s's followed by a vowel, the word second for example, where as if it was followed by a consonant like the word space I would have no trouble. I also stutter on f's, I hate 'em!, they just really irritate me, oh and p's are a pain too. They are the main ones for me, but on a bad day anything can catch me out!. It would be interesting to see what letters other people stutter on, :) ;)

Sorry people, I just realised there is another thread exactly the same as this with loads of replies on it, I dont know how to delete mine. Oh well, you can still reply if you like! That thread is kinda old anyways.....and it has a lot of posts on it already (5 pages).....so having a newer one wouldn't hurt. :)
If anyone wants to see it, heres the old thread:
What do YOU stutter on?

As for me, I don't know which specific letters I stutter on the most. Haven't paid that much close attention to that kinda thing. I can stutter on pretty much any word at any time.
However, for me, I think it kinda comes and goes in groups; so it's never a specific few letters. For example, one week I might stutter on S's, M's, and T's the most. Then the next week, it might be A's, P's, and R's. And so on. But, it doesn't have to be one week. It could be two weeks or a month. Anyone else kinda like this?

Well, I stutter on "h" and vowels. M is difficulty and T which sucks cause my name starts with a T. My stuttering pattern is so messed up though that one any day, my pattern changes and I stutter on any sound, even ones I did the day before perfectly. It does suck.

vowels followed by strong sounding letters like "c" or "k"...sometimes in the middle of words too, like "certif-if-if-ic-icate".

Yeah I know what you mean llw03c, I have the same trouble with the word "considering", I can get the con bit out ok, but then block on the sidering bit, sounds kind of like "con...ss.sidering". It sucks dont it mate.
