For an assistant summer swim team coach! Yay!!

I've been on swim teams since I was probably like 6...and I haven't been on one since High School, I miss it a lot. I so hope I get it! I would so love to be by the water again, in the meet scene again.

I've heard assistant swim coach jobs don't pay much, but I really don't care...I know it will be a job I enjoy. And I can always get a 2nd job if I wanted to and had time to.

Anyways, Tuesday at 4pm....wish me luck!!!! :D :D :D :D

I agree. If I were you Emily, I'd use this as an opportunity to check out some hotties and score a number or two, lol :D

Thanks everyone!!

It went ok. I did stutter a little bit, then I naturally went into covert mode (hate it when I do that). She asked a lot of hard questions. But she's a new head coach, so maybe she doesn't know what she's doing either, lol.

So, we will see!! I'm still gonna put in applications other places...just in case.

From what you have said it sounds as if you did a fine job. Hopefully you will get it and if not then I'm sure something else will come along.

Well I just got an email saying that their 4th coaching job has been cut because of economical reasons. I think that's a load of crap...but...whatever :(

I went to fill out applications today....great fun...

I have an interview on Tuesday as well!!! For a Marketing Assistant at a Title Company. They sound pretty interested (through email). I know that I have the skills to get the job, the only thing I am worried about is it is a /office admin, which means taking phone calls and such. If I got the job I know it wouldn't be a problem, it never has been on the job. I usually get into a routine and my stuttering is not too bad at jobs, BUT the interviews are bad! I am scared that if I stutter at all they will be afraid that my stutter is too severe to do my job well enough....I am working on my confidence though, so wish me luck! :)

Ugh I have an interview at a hospital tomorrow for a position in the behavioral health department and I REALLY want it. I'm terrified of the interview tomorrow even though it shouldn't be that horrible. The one that thing scares me the most is that interviews usually consist of talking about yourself, which is exactly where my stutter kicks in the most. (name/major/residence/work history/etc) I wish I had a major that I could say fluently, but oh well, my passion is Psychology :) Wish me luck! slash..tips from anyone?
