masking, white noise while talking?

Anyone knows if there are ANY device that you can NOT hear yourself while talking?.

I mean, a device that makes a "masking sound", or a "white noise sound", while talking?

There are devices, like hearing aids, that send white noise into your ears. They are used for patients with tinnitus. I'm not sure if you wouldn't be able to hear yourself...?

Not sure of any specific devices, but you could probably rig up something simple yourself. A few years ago my dad made a recording of white noise and I tried talking while listening to it from my ipod. Didn't work too well but definitely worth a shot.
