Do you feel you stutter more when ordering from the drive thru, or when you go inside. I stutter more at the drive thru, because inside I can point or use hand gestures. I have at times, pretended to have a really sore throat, or write down what I want explaining I have a sore throat. Pretty pathetic, right? I rememeber Sonic used to really terrify me. Ha.Ha.
You're not alone.....I still hate going to the drive-up, I just feel more in control when I go inside. No, it's not pathetic, we all have felt/or still feel the same way.

I go into the shop so I can view the menu better and make good decisions

I have to eat less of thet food :(
I'm equally as bad if I order through the drive thru or go inside. I usually take the drive thru to order my coffee and bagel, like today I did. The only bad thing was that I had a block on bagel.

I think dine-in restraunts freak me out more...because I can see the waiter coming towards me...and then that starts the anxiety. Whereas with a drive thru, it's usually pretty quick and painless.

Haha! I have this exact same problem. Barring a miracle, I'll always order inside. Its just more comfortable.

I used to hate to go through the drive through. Now with the help of meds.
I feel little, or no anxiety having to speak.

I have more trouble with drive thru orders than with ordering inside. I do use the drive thru though once in awhile when I decide I want an order to go. LOL, my car window on the driver side is jamming up now though so now I avoid the drive thru due to that inconvenience. :o
