i am 16 year old male and i have always been shaking and twitching my arms and sometimes legs. i have also been repeating random words or buzzing sounds when i shake. ive been doing this for about a year maybe more. Its not all the time but it pretty frequent and other people have noticed it as well. i am very impatient and constantly fidgeting with something. I shake and do things without even noticing it. I also bite the hair on my knuckles for some reason.. I worry alot over things and think to much. i also have alot of anxiety. I have a speech impediment but its not that bad, it gets worse whenever i am really nervous about something, or when i am prestenting in front of my class. I try to be calm before i talk but that dosent help either. I think anxiety is what is causing my stuttering, or my studdering is what caused my anxiety. I tend to hold in my anger and i guess you could say that i am a private person. Im not quiet, it just takes me awhile to adapt to my surroundings. Does anyone know if i have a disorder of somesort? and should i talk to a doctor about this?

i think you should go and see your doctor, they can help. a lot of external body movement can be associated with stuttering, they are called secondary behaviours and stutterers use them to help them cope with the anxiety of being 'stuck' in the stutter. a lot of the time the stutterer has associated a secondary behaviour with a positive experience when they performed the movement and spoken fluently. do you feel as though you are shaking when you feel you might stutter? if so this sounds like a secondary behaviour. the best advise would be to go and see your doctor, they are doctors for a reason!!! and they can refer on to other professionals. dont take 'no' for an answer, if this is bothering your doctor has a duty to help!!! DO NOT take kobe4three's advice and self medicate..... every person is different and you should recieve a diagnosis before taking any medication.
