Hey guys! It's great to become a part of such an awesome forum.
I've been stuttering since 8th grade. The words that I have trouble saying vary depending on how often I'm unsuccessful saying that type of word. My freshman year of high school I started seeing a speech therapist who really didn't help at all. I remember during the first session she rating my stuttering as severe. I didn't agree.
Last year I started seeing a private-practice psychologist/hypnotherapist who is helping a lot to relieve the stress behind stuttering, but I am still not very fluent in many situations.
I'm 18 years old and have just graduated high school.
I plan on attending Northern Kentucky University next year for a Computer Science major.
