The part about his stuttering starts about 16 or 17 minutes in.
This video really cheered me up.

Interesting video, thanks for posting. He was very fluent during the apperance so he seems to have a good level of control ove his stuttering.

Thanks for posting, I found it really funny and interesting. Some of the situations that he described he had been in I could really relate to. You wouldn't think he does the good ol' word swapping routine, would you? I often do this but the word I use as a swap usually doesn't sound anywhere near as natural as the original word.

The guy being interviewed is an inspiration? I'll give him credit that he didn't let his stutter stop him from doing what he wanted to do in life, but I don't think his avoidance strategies should be admired, unless you think it's good to live in fear all the time.

I think he is a true inspiration. He (in 1981) seemed very focused on his chosen career and with success. He also seems very comfortable with his self developed technique. I preach non-avoidance but if it works for you and you are comfortable with it then do it.
