I've brought this up once before but do you guys have any technique for reducing stuttering when you have to make a call and feeling stressed.

I had a bad phone day today - lots of calls and lots of stuttering. One guy almost hung up on me.

I have improved in other areas but the phone is still hard for me.

I understand your predicament. Most of us are in the same boat.

I actually find telephone conversation easier, because the other person does not see my struggling. At least not visually. I find it more akward to struggle in front of a person,as opposed to the phone.

Alot of times when I struggle on the phone, the other person thinks my phone line just isnt clear.

Another thing is I tell my caller, that I often times have trouble speaking on the phone, right from the onset, so thus they will understand what is happening.

I don't know if any of this helps, but it has helped me quite a bit.

i guess u need to enter the call very slowly....i mean u will have to be very slow in speaking and speak only when u exhale. i have tried this out and it really works. dont force yourself into pushing words out forcibly. take deep breaths and yeah, just imagine that ure normal and stuttering was a thing of the past.....if ure in office, spend some time making anonymous calls like the tele sales and practise giving out ure name or some description of a fake product from a fake company or u can just make a telephonic survey.....give this a shot
