hey all, i'm a new member! i'm a girl and i'm only 14. i'm from indonesia. i have a pertty bad stuttering. i've been stuttering since... i couldnt remember hahaha. but i thank god that i have a very supportive family. they make my stuttering become something normal.

but it kinda sucks to be a stutterer in my country. because there are only a few ppl who stutter here (not like stutterers in USA), and most of people in my country have no idea what stuttering is. so they just think that i'm a NERVOUS person, or they will call me a total FREAK. but i'm okay with that haha

so, i'd be very happy to talk to people from indonesia or any close asian countries.
i'll be happy to be friend with fellow stutterers.

:)

Welcome to the forum. It must be even harder than usual living with a stutter if it is not a well known condition in your country.

hi
I am from India. I think asia has less stutterers than USA. Anyway, i also have consulted some docs here but they were unable to provide a therapy or any other kind of solution. But i came across a person who asked me to meditate. This helps to reduce my stuttering and also boosts my self confidence.

People here don't like to talk about stuttering. But this is a great forum to seek help.

Cheers and welcome
