every one of us know, how the medicine develop day after day
but our problem remain the same
no cure no drugs
very difficulty in jobs
unlikely by most of people
so I certain ,there is something wrong and I think the doctors do not make good effort to find cure
just few trying in USA
no even little trying in france or Italy or germany or the rest of country
why?????

stuttering is just a mystery but yeah ther is some progress in finding some kind of medications that can lessen our stuttering,we shall hear about it sooner.

I think what you said has some truth to it. Stuttering isn't one of the glamorous maladies attracting the medical profession in any society that I know of. It is one of the few afflictions that far too many people actually find amusing. But it may also be the mystery behind it, its seeming incurability, that discourages research into finding a cure. Spending millions of dollars and endless hours to find a drug that might work for some stutterers just doesn't seem lucrative enough for the effort.

Yes I agree that it is frustrating that there is not much on offer in terms of medication to aid stuttering. Other than taking things for anxiety/depression etc there doesn't seem to be much you can do and that kind of medication isn't what most people would want anyway. Pagoclone is a big hope at the moment so we will have to see how that pans out. I guess stuttering is just very complicated and not an easy thing to try and treat.
