Does reading aloud daily decrease stuttering?

I'm wondering: have there been any studies on whether there exists a relationship between reading aloud and stuttering. If not, does anyone try reading aloud daily? Does it work?

i dont know of any studies but for me personally i am like 98 percent or sometimes 100 percent fluent reading out loud. not only when im alone, but when i read out loud in front of people as well. i guess i would consider myself a mild stutterer. but some people have trouble reading out loud. everyone is different...but perhaps if you practice, it'd get easier.

I think that anything that increases your confidence is a good thing. What you practice you get more of!!
