I noticed something under DAF (delayed
audio feedback)...
When I use DAF, or am able to hear the speech signal delayed-- I feel more confident and more at ease with my stuttering...
The DAF sort of gives me a confidence boost
in able to cope with my stuttering....
It makes me stutter slower, but the stutter
is very clear and i am still understood...
It's like when I'm using DAF, I feel inhbited
weather i stutter or not....it does decrease the stuttering, but it also makes me able to have a little
bit of confidence as I stutter somewhat...
I think it's the fact I am able to hear myself before I speak which is why DAF works for me if i had the money to get a device-- it doesn't
matter if i stutter a little or not-- knowing
I can hear my second voice before I speak
will make me feel like it is OK to stutter...
even if it's in front of others!!
Anyone else experience that???
