Anyone here with the concern of our stuttering might inherit to our kids in future?

I am not sure if my concern is valid or not, but it's sorta affecting me.

I don't wish any of my future kids to have my stuttering strands.

Does it run heavily on inheritance? Or it depends?

Can anything be done to prevent?

And if my stutterings get cured some day, will this help?

Any thoughts are welcome.

Hello. I understand your concern. I have some family history of stuttering. And i am not alone in the family who stutters. Some of my cousins, nephews and nieces are stutters too. We are all from mild to severe. I am also worried if my children would inherit stuttering as well. But i think there isn't anything we can do.

As far as i know about inheritance .Dont marry with anyone of your family close to u , close cousins.
This doubles the chances of inheriting the defective traits.
well u have to leave it all to God .What he decides is blessing in disguise.
BUt by that time science would have much info about stuttering and would cure then any way .
MAY GOd keep every away from this problem!
