I've stuttered since first grade, where I overcame it in sixth grade. Then I started high school last year, and it came back. I'm just saying hi, and yeah, I hope I can overcome it again, as it's beginning to affect my life and future. I'm smart (95th percentile on PSAT as a sophomore, 31 on PLAN as a sophomore) but I may not be able to be the pharmacist I want to be because of my disfluency.

hey welcome, a pharmacist's main job is behind the counter mixing the medicine, unless you have a very severe stammer you will have no problems with that choice of career.

As far as beating your stammer, it seems the only proven cure is age... and that doesn't work with everyone. Putting in time everyday working on techniques can really help, it might not completely beat it but you will be able to overcome most situations.

Theres a lot of stuff here, things to read, things to do, people to talk to with, so enjoy.. not quite sure if thats the right word... oh well :)
