It's crazy, my stuttering faded away and the only thing i stutter on is my name. Does anyone else only stutter their name and NOTHING else??

I can't speak for everyone of course but I have never heard of someone only stuttering on their name and nothing else. I, like many stutterers, do have a problem saying my name but I also stutter when saying many other words and just while talking in general.

I guess all you can do is try and look on the bright side as at least your problem has faded away to such an extent that you only stutter on one word. Maybe just try using your middle name or something for a while and see if that helps.

That is kinda weird to only stutter on your name.

I would stay that I stutter on my name more than anything else, especially when I make a phone call and I introduce myself. When I ask questions I tend to stutter more than answering them.

Hey Trillion, I do the exact same thing. My stutter slowly went away but saying my name will always make me stutter. Do you get anxiety when introducing yourself?

You lucky so and so. I would love to have your stutter! Keep up the good work. Most stutterers I talk to not only stutter on their name but also many other words in many other situations.

Yea through the years my stutter has definitely faded away. My name is still the single word that I stutter on the most.

Ever wondered WHY saying your name is one of the most difficult things for us?

In the bad, ugly past, when psychological and psycho-analytical explanations for stuttering were in vogue, the so-called experts tried to sell the idea that we could not say our name because, on a subconscious level, we did not WANT to say it, perhaps because of deep-seated, underlying conflicts.

Today we know more about how stress works. It is difficult to say our name because we know, consciously or subconsciously, that we can't word-substitute our name, and this lack of choice increases stress tenfold.

There have been PWS who have changed their name because of the difficulty of saying it - and then later started to stutter on their new name; once again because they HAD to say it, they did not have space, freedom and alternative options. That's how stress works.
