Bonjour everybody
I've just sign in in this forum and I jump on that post to introduce myself to the . I'm 23 and, also, trying to improve my english skills. So, don't blame me too hard but, it's alright to be told when i'm making huge ant typical mistakes.
What about me and stuttering?
The big question of my live !
I can just talk about it, and wait for your suggestions and comments.
When I was in Primary Education, I started to fell I was shy, too shy.
I disliked to be asked about my opinions and to be the center of attention.
When I was 12, my stuttering had started in classroom, officially.
I'll always remember that moment.
My teacher aked me to read a text in our book out loud. I didn't succeed to prononced the first word without stuttering. I had to finish the full text with big difficulties on every word.
One pupil, askesd me "Who teach you reading ?"
I said "Your mother!" (french way too express "shut up!" )
He stand up and give me a slap in the back of the head
10 years later, I'm still stuttering when I'm too worried about something or someone.
Often when I've got autorithy people in front of me : teacher, policeman, relatives...
I can deal with my stuttering now, but it's have been a long way.
