Has anyone tried Chriropractic as a treatment for stuttering?
I know a chiropractoc who is very confident that he can help me.
The idea is to better circulate pathways in the nervous system.
I'm going to be starting sometime soon at 3 adjustments per week until any significant improvement.
If anyone has had any experience please share it with the rest of us.

How much is this going to cost you? I really don't think this is going to help. Stuttering starts in your brain.

I'd say the guy is BSing you, ask him to show you documented proof this works, then talk to different chiropractor.

btw..Ive been seeing a chiropractor for years for a bad back. He's very aware that I stutter and never said such a thing even once.

It would cost me an exchange in services. I do tech support for the whole clinic. So I would no longer get paid, but in turn I would get treatment 3 times a week.

It will cost me my IT support services. I current do tech support for their clinic at $50/h. However, the amount of work I get varies. Some months I go once or twice, others 3 or 4 times. A regular adjustment costs $40. So 3 times a week would be $120. I wouldn't be paying for it, but when I do work for them, they won't be paying either.

He seems very confident... Has anyone tried this?

Yeah I've never heard of a Chiropractor doing this before. Might be another way in for they could make more money.

Chiropractic adjustments is only a part of the treatment.
The other part consists of bio/neuro-feedback where they see how your brain responds to different amounts of stress. It's quite interesting, you should look into it before disregarding the entire notion.

I am definitely gonna try it.
I'm starting in january, I will keep u guys posted with my progress.
The chiropractor is a friend of the family, so I know for sure he is not bs'ing me.
He did not day it will help dramatically, but he is confident there will be some sort of improvement.

Exactly..give it a valued go (not one visit) and see what happens. We are all different so you never do now until you try
