...but that I know aren't done with mal intent by others:

1. People who finish your sentence for you. (Thanks for HIGHLIGHTING my inability to do so!)

2. People who tell you to "slow down" when you talk. (Like I'm that much of an idiot...like I never thought of that! *laugh*)

3. People who tell you to take a deep breath before you talk. (Oh, thanks. I'M CURED!!!)

4. People who think they know how to "cure" your stutter. (There's always one in a crowd)

5. People who don't know you stutter and who mock you right after you do stutter, thinking it's funny. (It's not.)

6. People who say, "You could stop if you really wanted to. You just have to want to." (Thank you, Tony Robbins!)

7. People who say, "Oh, everyone does it. I stutter, you stutter, all God's chillen stutter," As if it's not a real impediment and is just like how everyone stubs their toe now and then.

Feel free to add your own. :)

What annoys me the most is slow walkers... people who walk slow piss me off, especially people who take up the whole pavement and don't let you pass.

If you are walking you are trying to get from a to b... so why why why do people take soo long to get there.

I have to agree with one, People that have a cure for my stutter, and that have the answers to everything, for you stutter or how to raise you kids, etc.

Another one, is when you are having a block, they do something else, almost like to pass the time, when, I'm dancing away, trying to entertain them, while I try and get the word out.

Another one that doesn't have to do with my stutter, is when people drive slow in the fast lane.

Well, that is a start.

*laugh* I agree with everything. What I hate is when they offer the weird cures. "Just have a drink. That'll help."

Uh...I think the amount of alcohol I'd need to address every stuttering situation would render me dead in less than a day.

I don't like the people in choirs who say "Oh, don't worry I mouth the words too."

When my grandmother calls me up and asks me a question and it takes me like 10 seconds to get the word out she'll ask me "Why did you have to think about it?".

Usually people just give me weird facial expressions ranging from huge smiles and full eye contact to no eye contact and no expression.

The other day I was over at my parents' house, and I was blocking a lot, I was having a really bad time speaking. Every time this happens, my mother thinks I was out late partying. This is really starting to piss me off because I have not drank in several months. Also between the ages of 5 to ..... was out late then too!!!!

In a meeting, someone doing the pen clicking gets me going up the wall.
