I Google News Pagoclone everyday. I saw that article 5 minutes after it was posted.

Pagoclone looks very promising from what I have seen so far.
1.But the results of the study aren't out yet.
2.What works for one person won't work for the next.
3.Drugs will never cure stuttering (completely).

It sounds good... but saying that 3 years is a long way off, that is of course if it passes the trials. Still something to look out for in the future. I would love to get onto one of those trials.

Something which the article brings up is the seemingly lack of interest the medical to futher investigate stuttering. It seems odd to me how 3 million in the USA stutter, countless more worldwide and no one is properly going all out to find a prevention for it.

It would be a real money spinner if a cure was found. Makes me a bit tempted to get back into science.

There was a rather funny line in the first page.

Some have so much trouble just articulating their names that their faces distort and their arms flail.

Its true and its happened to me, but to have it written down so simply made me laugh.

Yeah, as soon as the Phase II is over and no one dies or can't get an anymore from the medicine. I'm participating
