Like a bolt out of the blue it hit me about three weeks ago, rather then always fight my stutter, why not embrace it and see everyday as an opportunity to work on improving my stutter.
Now every day I am not filled with dread but with hope and expectation. This simple mind change has done wonders.
I have gone further and now treat my stutter like a puzzle. Every successful thing i do to fight it is like another piece in the puzzle.
My puzzle pieces so far are small but really helpful things.
I take a combo of calcium and magnesium complex and b vitamin. They calm me and relax muscles.
I work hard on breathing correctly, helps to reduce blocks and lets me structure and plan sentences.
I exercise regularly and eat healthier, this has given me a healthier image of myself and also seems to help with the stutter.
These are the pieces i have found so far.
If you have any other pieces that we can add to this puzzle, please fell free to suggest them.
Hope this helps others, the struggle continues.
