I would like to post a thread that might be offensive but may contribute to stuttering- and i think it's very
important to let thoughts on stuttering be heard no matter how dirty---I don't think keeping secrets
about what we think may increase stutterings
should be left to ourselves...

How can I email the moderator of this board- i
would like to post a thread topic that may shed
interest to stuttering...

But i need to make sure i don't get banned for the topic!! It's best I check first!!!

If it;s not allowed I won't post of course, but
if it is, we have a new topic open for opinions!!

The topic has to do with Dopamine or hormones !!

Many may get what I'm incinerating here!!

I just don't want to be banned for posting

Why on earth would you get banned for something like that? If it relates to stuttering, feel free to post anything.

I noticed everytime I ual pleasure myself,
(that's the cleanest way i can put it I think),
I get very excited naturaly- but I also
wonder if that ual excitement releases
extra dopamine -- and I think it's shown dopamine
decreases or increases stuttering- I don't remember
which...

Or too much ual stimulation could cause
stuttering to increase cause hormones
are released...

Happy, Your cool.
I am not a screamer, or light up a smoke after a intimate time with my wife, I wake her up after I'm done and we have a little chat. On a serious note, I don't recall stuttering or having a block afterwards. Mind you we are sort of whispering, but I don't recall having a block. I better get home and pass this info to my wife. Thanks.

This may help to throw some light on the poster's theory.

I have had a stammer for nearly fifty years, on and off. The good times when the stammer hardly ever affected me, were during periods of normal and regular ual activity from the age of twenty up to about fifty. My theory is that the ual activity is a good relaxant and helps to alleviate anxiety associated with the phenomenon of stammering. Artificial self stimulation has never worked for me, so it must be the physical and "social" intimate contact that secures the necessary self-confidence and subsequent relaxation.

Later in life as ual activity naturally decreases, the effect is lost and the stammer can return, at least that is how it has happened in my case. If it is not the entire cause, at least, it must make a significant contribution.

That is very interesting, increase ual activity will decrease your stutter only if it for a brief period. I have heard that active ual life is healthy, it will even cure an headache, so the wives out there, that won't work anymore. Thanks happy for bringing up the topic and thanks guys for the info. What about the other stages leading up to the ual activity and after, long does it take to go back to normal. I haven't put much thought into before. I do recall, jumping up and down, pounding my chest and slapping the ground and pushing the odd tree over, I don't encounter as many blocks. I don't recall many blocks when courting my future wife, dinners, movies and just talking on the phone. Is it because I am so focused on this woman, that my mind in not on my stutter. Is there an increase in chemical activity. What is the connection? Very interesting in deed.

Almost on the right track with my original post..!!!
I don't mean stuttering while just after
with someone-- I mean when a stutterer is
in bed "playing with oneself"--- and pleasuring
oneslef is known to give one lots of pleasurable
feelings by releasing endorphins...these indorphins
might cause stuttering to increase..

I apoligize to my next message that it's dirty
but it's neccesary to tell...

When I stimulate myself with my finger--
the pleasure sensation feels great but the pleasureable
senasations give me feelings of excitement
and confidence as with anyone...and that confidence
gives me a feeling that " I may stutter alot, but
when I feel as confident when I do playing with myself
I feel like it's no big thing"--

But the downside is as I pleasure myself-
I feel my lips sort of tense up, and lips tensing up
contributes to stuttering- and that's what we do not want!!

And when I hit -- the rush is so
exciting that a "lightning bolt" feeling
of sensation passes in my brain...!!!

I wonder if that "lighning bolt"
sensation is a release of dopamine
in the brain- which makes stuttering
worse than it can already be..by making our
brains very excitable and just too stimulated....

I also notice the day or morning right after
the night I pleasure myself- my stutter is a little worse....

Again this reads like a ual dirty post,
but the opinions of stuttering cannot be
told unless lewdness is included---

My apoligies to any of those who
might be offended--
