My name is Vegard, and this is my first post (as far as i can recall) at this forum. I am a very light stutterer, probably among the least troubled on this forum. Although it in periods might be almost gone (the amount of stuttering varies a lot), it always bugs me, and feeds my brain with negative input.
However, my point is this:
Throughout my history with stuttering (started when i was 11-12, i´m 20 now), and particularly in the last year, I´ve noticed that the level of stuttering is linked closely with my view of life, my psyche, my "zen" if you wish. This is probably not very unusual, as stuttering drastically progress with tension, but however, I would like to ask you the following question:
Do your experiences harmonate with mine ? And if so, apart from trying to live a satisfying life in general, which "mind tricks" or inner dialogues do you use to reduce the amount of stuttering?
Any answer will be much appreciated.
