Does being left handed give you a greater chance of stuttering?

If so I think I was odds on to stutter as my mums dad had a bad stutter and I am left handed as is my dad.

( i am more or less totally left side dominant e.g. writing, eating, kicking, punching, racket sports, snooker etc etc )

I read something that lead me to the conclusion that being left handed might have correlation with being a stutterer. It doesn't have a direct affect but it's possible that there are more left handed stutterers than there are right handed stutters. I forgot what I read but it was something about the brain.

I dnt think its related, I have seen some research that says most people who stutter are left handed but I dnt believe that.

By the way I am right handed and stutter :)
